What happens at a Toddler Sense Class?

Every week is a different adventure but we follow the same routine as we know how important it is to children’s development.

Exploratory Play Area

We always start with our play are which is full of bright, colourful and clean equipment. We have huge selection of equipment but the set up may include bouncy castles, ball pit, soft play, balance equipment, tents and tunnels.
It is the perfect opportunity for child to develop their gross motor skills, social skills and burn off some energy before we start the structured activities.

It is also a lovely opportunity for you to meet other families with similar aged children.

Structured activities

We then continue the adventure with our structured activities. There has been huge amounts of research behind our activities to how they are going to benefit your child and we do share this with you as we are doing the activity. Again we have a huge selection which will help develop their motor skills, hand eye coordination, team work, communication, imagination, creativity and helping to prepare them for school as they get towards that stage.

The activities are fast paced to keep the child engaged with huge amounts of variety.

Please do let me know if you have any questions as I am always happy to help but here are a few frequently asked questions.

Frequently asked questions?

My child cannot walk yet can they join Toddler Sense?
Yes you can attend Toddler Sense. We have lots of activities which help develop your child's gross motor skills as well as lots of different balancing equipment to help strengthen their balance and coordination.

Can I attend with my older child?
Toddler Sense is suitable for children up to the age of 5 years so you would be able to attend an older aged class or mixed class with both children and I also offer a sibling discount.
Children 5 years and older unfortunately cannot join in but can come and

I also have a baby can they attend also?
Yes of course, I have lots of families who attend Toddler Sense with their child and a younger baby. It can often be easiest to have baby in a sling however there is space in the venues to bring a pushchair into the hall if they are sleeping.
Don't forget to find out about Baby Sensory, another programme in the WOW World Group which is for babies from birth to 13 months.

I am returning to work can grandparents bring them to class?
Of course, everyone is welcome. We have lots of grandparents, nannys and childminders who bring the children to class as parents have returned to work.

I cannot make a session can I attend another day?
You are more than welcome to attend a catch up session at one of my other venues providing I have a space available.
