Frequently Asked Questions about classes
1) What happens if there is a local or national lockdown?
In the event of a local or national lockdown, we reserve the right to transfer venue based classes online to Zoom, we regrettably cannot offer refunds.
2) What will venue based classes be like?
Each session will be 50 minutes long where we will still start with adventure play. After, we will move onto the structured led activities where ‘Tod’ brings us on a new themed adventure every week!
3) How will you keep the equipment clean?
During the session, you will get a set of equipment to use which will have been sanitised before the session. At the end of the session, we will sanitise all equipment and leave it to air dry before it is used again for the next session.
4) Will we have to wear a face covering?
At present, there is no legal requirement to wear a face mask. However, if you wish to wear a face covering then please feel free to do so.
5) Will we have to maintain social distancing?
There is no legal requirement for this, however we will still leave some space between each family whilst we are doing our group activities.
6) What happens when I arrive and what can I bring with me?
Due to the cleaning procedures, we kindly ask that you do not arrive earlier than 5 minutes before the start of your class. Adult hand sanitiser will be available for you to use when you arrive. We also encourage you to bring your own hand sanitiser and to regularly sanitise your hands.
7) Are siblings allowed?
You are most welcome to bring a sibling if they are booked in advance so please contact us for any sibling bookings and you will receive a discount code. You are also welcome to bring your baby under 12 months free of charge however please do let us know as soon as you have booked your toddler in as we will need to factor this into our numbers.
8) Can I bring another adult with me to a class?
Unfortunately, due to limited capacity and room size, we are currently only able to accommodate one adult per child. If you have twins/siblings and want to bring another adult to help, you will need to book 2 full price places (if one adult is bringing both siblings the second sibling is half price). Please contact us of for any sibling bookings.
9) What if I have any symptoms of COVID-19 or someone I live with is showing symptoms?
For the health and safety of those attending the sessions, please DO NOT come to classes if you or someone you live with is showing symptoms or has tested positive for Covid 19. Please follow all government guidance for self-isolating.
10) What happens if I cannot attend my class?
Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions on numbers, it is difficult to offer a place in another class that week. If you cannot make your class please let us know as soon as and we can advise you if anyone else in a different class is unable to attend in the same week, then we will be able to offer you a different class time. Alternatively, you are welcome to send a friend or a family member in your place (with a child of a similar age to yours). Please just let us know in advance of the session.
Prices
Payment for Toddler Sense classes in East Surrey are on a fixed term basis where each session costs £8.50.
