Here are some questions we get asked alot.
Q What happens in class?
A Each class has the same structure and is made up of 2 parts. The first part is our exploratory play. This is the chance for your toddler to explore our theme play area. This changes weekly but will have a bouncy castle, tunnels, soft play, ball pools and loads more. Then after our much-loved tidy up song we sit down together for our led activities. Based on that week’s theme, we could be dancing, using parachutes, bubbles, puppet shows, sensory lights - each week is an adventure!
Q Can my newborn attend class with us?
A Absolutely! Lots of families bring baby siblings along - you'll be amazed what they sleep through! All siblings under 12 months attend for free and are welcome to join in when they can!
Q My toddler isn't walking yet, can they still come?
A Yes! They might need some extra support from you in some activities but classes are designed for all toddlers from 13 months and everyone can access it from their own developmental stage.
Q My mum/brother/friend is visiting, can they come and watch?
A Yes you very welcome to bring a family member / partner etc along with you to class.
Q My baby is 11 months and we would love to come. Can we?
A Our classes are designed from 13 months - why not try Baby Sensory Harrogate first? We will then love to see you in a few months!
Q Is there free parking available?
A Yes! All our venues have free parking on site.
Q I missed the start of term - can I still come?
A Yes! If we have space available, you can join anytime. You'll just pay for the remaining sessions!
Q What happens if I miss a class?
A If you can’t attend a class for any reason, get in touch and we will try and find you an alternative session that week. If not, you are welcome to gift your space to a friend for the week – just let us know.
Q I'm worried my toddler won't sit still!
A Don't be! Our led activities are fast paced and designed to capture their attention but we know that sometimes toddlers might wander. It is absolutely fine. Just keep an eye on them and encourage them back when they are ready. It won't take long - they won't want to miss out!
Q How much are sessions and do you offer discounts for siblings?
A Sessions are £8.50 and we do offer a discount for 2 or more siblings attending the same class together (siblings under 12 months are free).
Q Do you do PAYG?
A We do not offer PAYG as we like our classes to see familiar faces each week. If you are new to class and want to try it out before signing up for a term block, we do offer a mini 3 week term so you can sample a few of our different themes.
Q We are potty training - can we still come?
A Yes! We know that this is a crucial stage in your toddler's development. We just ask to make sure they nip to the bathroom before class and as they need it through out the session. If any accidents were to occur - let us know asap.
