About our classes:
Toddler Sense® is an award-winning programme for children aged 13 months to 5 years. Our classes have been carefully designed, planned and researched by Dr Lin Day, one of the leading parenting experts in the UK. Every class provides your toddler with a whole new world of multi-sensory stimulation, play, and learning that helps with their social, physical and cognitive development.
Classes are an hour long and have a new theme every week; this could see you and your toddler zooming through space, boarding a magical train or even climbing a snowy mountain. Every session begins with 20-25 minutes in our fabulous adventure play area that is set up is differently each week and includes a large array of soft play & gym equipment to help toddlers burn off lots of extra energy. The second half is structured activities where we learn, move and have fun with a highly trained, DBS checked class leader and our unique soft toy mascot Tod!
We have 2 years of different class themes so each week will be a fun new learning experience for your toddler.
Frequently Asked Question’s
Can I bring my baby to class?
Yes of course, lots of families attend Toddler Sense® with their child and a younger baby. To allow flexibility to join in and enjoy the class with your toddler, a baby sling/carrier may be helpful depending on your baby’s age. Children under 13 months attend classes for free.
Can I attend with my older child?
Toddler Sense® is suitable for children up to 5 years old. If you are wanting to come with 2 toddlers we would ask that you book on to the older child’s aged class. Children older than 5 are not allowed on our soft play equipment for insurance reasons.
My child cannot walk yet, can they join Toddler Sense®?
Yes of course. We have lots of activities which help develop your child’s gross motor skills and our classes, activities and Adventure Play Area is designed for crawlers, pre-walkers and walkers.
I’m returning to work can grandparents bring my Toddler to class?
Yes definitely. Classes are open to all. We have lots of grandparents, aunts, uncles, childminders and nanny’s who bring children to classes.
How much do classes cost?
Our classes run and are booked in full terms. The classes are charged at £9 per week i.e a 6 week term would be £54. Term lengths may fluctuate and the cost will reflect the number of weeks in that term. You can join at any time during the term, subject to availability. The cost will be determined by how many weeks are left in the current term.
Do you do PAYG classes?
Subject to availability we may sometimes offer PAYG spaces. If there are any PAYG spaces available they will be advertised on our social media pages and will be priced at £10 per session.
What happens if I miss a class?
If you miss a class we are not able to offer a refund for the class. You can however, gift the class to a friend and their toddler- please make sure to contact the class leader at least 24 hours before the class is due to take place with the details of who will be coming in your place. There may be an opportunity to change to a different venue during the same week, subject to availability. Please talk to your class leader. We cannot carry over any missed classes.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just a pair of socks for you and your child. Our matted area is a shoe free zone to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
What should my Toddler wear to class?
We recommend that you dress your Toddler in comfy clothes that allow freedom of movement as they explore our play equipment.
Can we eat in class?
If you need to give your child a snack, including milk, please do this away from the matted area. Our play area is a food free zone to avoid any allergy implications and to ensure the mats stay clean.
Parking
There is plenty of free parking available at all venues.
Do you host birthday parties?
Yes we host amazing parties for 2nd, 3rd and 4th birthdays. We can run parties for up to 20 children under 5 and have a range of themes to pick from. Please get in touch for more details and prices. Contact us via email: midcheshire@toddlersense.co.uk or phone 07752476398.
Do you hold weekend classes?
Yes we occasionally run Weekend specials. Please keep an eye on our socials for upcoming weekend events and seasonal specials. Saturday/Sunday classes are priced at £11 per child.
