Toddler Development

The toddler period usually begins when babies take their first steps and generally ends at age three with the development of self-control and independence.

The toddler period can be a rollercoaster of events from running around the house after them, to wiping crayon marks off the walls, mopping up spills and generally tidying up after them. Toddlers simply cannot help themselves. They are creative, curious, imaginative, busy little people who enjoy exploration and new challenges.
