ABOUT THE CLASSES
I am so excited to be bringing the fantastic and award-winning Toddler Sense classes to SW London. All classes will run from our beautiful new WOW Family Hub in Hampton Hill.
Our action-packed Toddler Sense sessions are specially designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support development through play, movement, and adventure. Each week brings a brand-new theme—so whatever age you join, you and your child will enjoy exciting experiences every single session until they are ready for school.
Created by Dr. Lin Day, leading child development expert and founder of Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense, our award-winning programme is carefully structured to support early learning while keeping things fun, social, and engaging for toddlers (and parents too!).
WHAT TO EXPECT
Every class is filled with fun, energy, and discovery! From adventure play in our fabulous soft play area to structured activities that encourage imagination, problem-solving, and teamwork, toddlers are given opportunities to move, explore, and thrive.
Our classes are also a fantastic way to spend quality time together, as well as meet other parents and carers. Expect a wonderful mix of movement, music, games, props, and creative play designed to stimulate your toddler’s growing body and mind.
CLASS STRUCTURE
Each session is one hour long and follows a clear structure to support your toddler’s Play–Rest–Play cycle:
• Adventure Play Time – The class begins with free play in our adventure area, filled with soft play equipment and exciting activities to burn off energy and build physical skills.
• Group Activities – We come together for a series of guided activities based on the week’s theme. These might include action songs, parachute play, instruments, sensory games, and much more.
• Goodbye Song – We end with a calm and familiar routine to help toddlers transition smoothly out of class.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Which class should I book? Toddler Sense is suitable from around 13 months up to 5 years. We group classes by age to ensure your child gets the most out their session:
💙New Explorers (13–20 months) – Perfect for toddlers finding their feet and eager to explore.
💙Adventurers (20 months–3 years) – For busy toddlers who love running, climbing, and trying new challenges.
💙Rangers (3–5 years) – Pre-schoolers with big imaginations who are ready for more structured fun.
Don’t worry too much if your toddler is in between stages—we’ll help you find the class that’s right for them.
What do I need to bring? All props and equipment are provided. Just bring the essentials you’d normally pack for a trip out with your toddler (drink, snack for afterwards, etc.). Comfortable clothes for moving around are a must!
Can siblings join in? Absolutely! If you have 2 children between 13 months and 5 years, then we offer a sibling discount of 50% on the second booking. We recommend booking into the class suited for your older child.
Babies 12 months or under can come along free of charge, and we recommend a sling or carrier for younger babies to enable you to freely move around with your toddler/pre-schooler.
Siblings over 5 years are welcome to join free of charge and will love to help their younger sibling play and explore. Please just keep in mind that the activities and equipment are designed for under 5s, and you will need to ensure your older child is mindful of the safety of younger children in class.
