I started my career as a Nanny, moving into Social Services day nurseries and Private day nurseries. In 1997 my twin boys came along and I stayed at home with them until they were three. In 2000 I became a Portage home visitor which was a home teaching service for pre - school special needs children working for Staffordshire County Council until the service sadly ended. Moving into the Local Support team and then into the Physical Disability Support Service, a service based at Greenhall Special Needs Nursery, this supported staff in nurseries and Primary schools who had a child with a Physical Disability until this service sadly ended in August 2017.
